Near Griffith’s middle school, 3 neighborhood libraries all lined up next to each other can be found, Arianna Alvarez, a 7th grader at Stauffer Middle School, spoke on how the libraries have helped her. “Because the Downey City Library has been closed, I started using the neighborhood libraries,” Alvarez stated. “I started reading the Hunger Games because one of the libraries had it and now it is my favorite series.”
