![After winning against Warren High School with a final score of 15-4 on October 26, 2021 at the Downey High School swimming pool, Senior Varsity water polo athletes Jose Jaime, Wyatt Calderon, and Jonathan Vigil all reflect on the match and their team’s performance. “I feel amazing,” Calderon shared. “It was a great accomplishment.”
Both Vigil and Jaime expressed their excitement after winning against their rivals. “[We] got pumped up because it’s our school’s rival, so we had to win it,” Vigil stated. “[I] felt excited, you know, it was a big game over Warren,” Jaime agreed.
