The Downey Legend’s Co-Photo Editor Alisson Naranjo, 12, looks most forward to guiding the team of photographers in the right direction to their full potential. She hopes to leave next year’s staff with an outstanding group of photographers who are ready to lead the incoming photographers to success and help maintain a diligent newspaper staff. “Newspaper has definitely strengthened my communication skills,” Naranjo stated. “It has allowed me to experience opportunities that I wouldn’t have been able to get without it.” She also stated how it has definitely helped her with time management skills, and she hopes to use what she’s learned to prepare for college. For college, she aims to attend a 4-year, and earn her Psy.D. Naranjo would describe herself as ambitious, intelligent, and intellectual. Outside of the classroom, she likes to read, take photos, and go on walks.
