Nicole Alvarez

Nicole Alvarez, Co-Editor-In-Chief

With the hopes of leaving an imprint wherever she goes, Co-Editor In Chief, Nicole Alvarez, 11, aims to reach everyone’s hearts individually. She has been part of the Assistance League of Downey, a nonprofit group that performs community service, for over two years.  As she enters her second year of Newspaper, and first as Co-EIC, she strives to be a leader the Newspaper staff can rely on.

Choosing to major in Psychology, Alvarez hopes to be the psychologist people deserve by getting through to her patients and help them through their struggles. “I’ve always said that it doesn’t matter if I reach hundreds or thousands of people’s hearts; I don’t need to help or change the whole world to be satisfied,” Alvarez stated. “I would be satisfied by helping one person at a time.”
