Laila Barrera is an adventurous, ambitious, and social person who is wonderful to be around. Her personality is as warm as her hobby: baking, which has inspired her to pursue business to one day open her own cafe. This aspiration is why she has contributed to programs such as becoming the treasurer of the Written Wishes org. and taking the business position in Newspaper: “I joined newspaper so I can get more knowledge in the business world in a bigger environment.” – Laila Barrera 

After hopefully graduating with honors in high school, Barrera plans to attend Cal State University of Long Beach to follow through with her business degree because the campus offers great programs for both business and her backup plan, education.
