As Dayami Briseno, 12, approaches her final year of high school, she approaches the Downey Legend as a social media manager to expand her horizons. She is involved in a variety of activities on campus, including being a second-year Link Crew Commissioner, being the Publicist of Key Club, and a member of the Erase the Stigma Club. She is a former member of the Downey High School Lacrosse team, a sport which she thoroughly enjoys. Briseno loves to chat and describes herself as an ambivert, where she’s not too introverted and not too extroverted. She aims to attend a four-year university with the goal of entering medical school and ultimately the medical field. “I’ve always liked medicine, and I’ve always liked helping people.” “It [The Downey Legend] really interested me,” Briseno stated. “I wanted to go and try something new.”
