As homecoming makes its way to campus, from the homecoming proposals to dressing up for spirit week, the Downey Dance Team has been preparing for their grand performance for the homecoming football game on October 15, 2021 at the Allen Layne Stadium.  This year, the Downey Dance Team has decided to switch up the type of dance they will be doing for the Hoco football game, by doing a jazz dance instead of a hip hop dance. Entering her second year on the Downey Dance Team, Sophomore Isabella Escobedo explains how this year’s performance will differ from previous performances. “This time we’re definitely more focused on being very clean and precise,” Escobedo states. “However, we are still having lots of fun.”
