Even though there is still a pandemic, the staff at Downey High School still tries to spread the Halloween spirit. Mrs. Campos is one of the staff members, who helps students in the College and Career Center located In A building room 201. Her idea of Halloween is “ You get to kind of be something you wouldn’t normally be”.Campos stated. “ Doing a costume gets you out of the norm.” While some teachers prefer to decorate their classrooms cute and sweet, Ms. Ruano from the counselor’s office had other plans. Ms. Ruano doesn’t just decorate the counselor's room a bit scary, but she decorates her house scary too. “I like to decorate my house, scary because it’s funny to see the kids get scared”. Ruano stated. “ I decorate to get people into the Halloween spirit.”
