Tatiana Galindo, 12, a first-year newspaper photographer, is excited to be a member of the Downey Legend crew and is ready to continue taking pictures and learning photographic skills, with a strong interest in film cameras. In addition to her love for photography, Galindo has aspirations of becoming a social worker. Galindo’s interests extend beyond the lens as she hopes to one day own a farm where she can raise a variety of animals, particularly pigs, her favorite. Galindo is a committed student aiming to graduate with gold cords, this year she hopes to be more involved in school activities. Aside from her academic and photographic interests, Galindo enjoys reading nonfiction books, baking, and playing with her three dogs.
“What I love the most about taking pictures is the idea of capturing a moment forever.” Galindo wants to put her photography skills to the test and capture memorable moments.
