Fun Fall Activities To Do This Year

Since fall has just begun,  it’s the perfect time to participate in some fun fall activities. Here are some great ideas that can help you get into the fall spirit.

Pumpkin Patch:

Pa’s Pumpkin Patch is located in Long Beach, CA and opens October 1st. This pumpkin patch has been hosting events for 40+ years and they offer a variety of activities, like choosing your favorite pumpkins, haystacks as well as pony rides. Pa’s also has a snack bar, carnival games, rides, and even a  petting zoo! There are also various areas where anyone can take pictures.

Pumpkin decorating/carving:

Get creative and decorate a pumpkin with some friends. Pumpkins are accessible in any local grocery stores and at pumpkin patches. Design a pumpkin based on your favorite movie, animal, or create a silly face.

Trying/making tasty treats:

With the chilly weather coming up, warm, pumpkin flavored foods are popular. The pumpkin spice latte at Starbucks is highly recommended and extremely popular right now, not to mention it will keep you warm throughout the fresh weather. Preparing apple/ pumpkin pies and caramel apples are also crucial this time around.

Halloween events:

Universal Studios and Knotts Berry Farm are some amusement parks that host haunting Halloween events. Horror Nights and Knotts Scary Farm are exclusive events during September- October, being known to include inconceivable scares. They offer many mazes, shows, and rides. The 17th Door, located in Fullerton, CA,  is another Halloween event that is more thrilling and intense. If you are under the age of 18 be aware, as a waiver must be signed by a parent or a legal guardian before you can enter this torturous experience.

Movie Night:

Get into the spooky spirit and watch a scary movie with some friends. The Freeform channel is having a Halloween movie marathon starting October 1st, through October 31st. They will be showing some famous titles such as Capser, Hocus Pocus, Ghostbusters, Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride as well as Nightmare Before Christmas. Gather some popcorn and have a Halloween movie night.
