About the Videographers
Andrea Vega, Videographer
Aiming to leave an impact this year to end off her Downey High experience, Andrea Vega, 12, joins the Downey Legend as a videographer. She also takes on a role in the Viking Nation Station as an editor and has volunteered at Camp Savio for the past two summers.
With plans to attend Long Beach City College, Vega’s end goal is to become an Architect. When asked what influenced her to choose this field, she stated, “My cousin is one and I’ve seen what he does as one. I ultimately thought it was something cool to pursue as a career.”Vega stated.

Loren Sapiter, Videographer
Entering her first year of Newspaper, senior Loren Sapiter, is eager to start as a videographer in the 2019- 2020 school year. Formerly a yearbook staff member, she was first interested in joining for her love of analysis. "I enjoyed my year in the yearbook crew, but I also wanted to diversify my last year here at Downey High and Newspaper seemed like a good way to do it," Sapiter said.
